Olde Stonehouse
Newsletter
2005 at the Olde
Stonehouse Bed & Breakfast was a year of change and tradition. In the
last 12 months, we have continued our award winning Murder Mystery
weekend packages, welcomed back a previous staff member, adopted a new
inn dog, and had the opportunity to welcome back many of you for return
stays. In our family, we added a son when Becca married Tony Sutton on September 23. The wedding was held at a lovely site, Newton-White Mansion, a Maryland State Park facility. All the families and friends gathered from near and far to make it extra special. After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, they both returned to their jobs with the federal government in D.C. With just a little bit of encouragement, we’ll share wedding pictures with you on your next visit.
Leah has had an exciting senior year at West Virginia University. She is serving as President of her sorority Sigma Kappa. That is proving to be a real life lesson in leadership that will be useful in future employment settings. Our valued and talented assistant innkeeper, Billie Reddick, moved back to the area after a short residence near her daughter’s family in Oklahoma. We were more than delighted to have her back with us. She is a morning person. Many mornings, she and Greg kick off breakfast preparation while I am still trying to come to life. Her cheerful manner and professional attitude help us offer you the best in B&B lodging available in the area.
Murder Mystery
Weekends continue to attract participants.
We invite you to visit us this winter. To encourage you, we have made a seasonal adjustment to our room rates. Through May 1, your choice of rooms in the Main Street facility is $69, a savings of $20 - $30 per night. Suites are offered at $119. With the opening of the truck route, we are enjoying a much quieter Main Street. Come and sit on the front porch with us. God Bless! Greg and JaNoel Bess & Daisy
